    I put over 200 hours into this game, and I'm more than excited for the GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION. I plan to pick it up as soon as possible. I'm real big on RPG Games, and having the option to choose what I level up when I do. Storyline was great, and I loved the post-apocalyptic feel along with the kinda choose your own adventure feel to it as well.

    I don't understand why people like this game so much. Out of games like this by Bethesda, I think Morrowind was much better. Out of the fallout series, this is the worst, especially compared to the undeniable classics 1 and 2 are.This game gives me flashbacks to the hated maze levels in Doom, only with less action and a way less cool atmosphere. Borderlands is everythin this game wants to be and more.

    In summation,
    I would skip this game, and get Borderlands instead.

    Played this game way too much, spent hours in front of the TV just finishing the campaigns. Definite win. Loved the VATS system and the post-apocalyptic scenery. One word for the designers, drop Moyra Brown...

    Decidedly one of my favourite games of all time, can't seem to get enough of it at the moment, glad I got the GotY edition-worth every penny!

    "Oblivion with guns" was the motto a lot of news sites were reporting when this game was released and it's easy to see why. Fallout 3 'feels' a lot like Oblivion, however for me, it lacks that magic and wonder that Oblivion inspired. Fallout 3 too quickly turned into a thankless slog across largely barren and un-interesting terrain to kill X creature or steal X item.

    A good game no doubt, but could have been better.

    This game is exactly what any RPG fan could want, without having to put up with obnoxious girly boys from a JRPG. There is a hundred and one things to do in the world of Fallout 3, with quests and sidequests galore. Yes graphically its not the greatest, it has some minor graphical glitches but nothing that will ever stop you enjoying the game. Oh, and it was repeatedly hit with the grey and brown dull stick. For a game that's so good, and defonitly long, you wouldn't expect more... but there is! With all the DLC that the developers added to the game adding 20-30 hours to the game, the time spent playing can easily become over 80-100 hours.

    This game is one of the best RPG's i have seen in a very long time. If you play this game on the xbox 360 then there are five expansions for you to enjoy and to keep you playing and entertained for a long time to come. I give this game a 5/5. Also this game has a Game Of The year Edition Which has a separate disc with all the downloads on it. I hope you people enjoyed this review and except many more in the future.

    Never played the first 2 Fallouts, but this one sucked me in and i enjoyed every second of the 100 hours i spent exploring the wasteland.
    The game (like most of this type) started slow, but when you level up and get better weapons the game opens up and takes hold.
    Fallout 3 is in my top 10 best ever games.
