For being an "older" Xbox 360 game, it was certainly one of the best games I have played! Very creepy and dark atmosphere, along with an amazing story made it one of my favorite games of this genre. The graphics are really impressive for its time, along with the voice acting. I also loved how they implemented CSI type stuff into the game, like finding clues, taking photos, etc.

Graphics seem a bit outdated (even for it's time), but the atmosphere is definitely creepy & a bit scary. The sound in this game is most definitely top notch. It really gives you a realistic feeling of searching through condemned buildings & every thud of your weapons against someones head feels very satisfying. All this is really great, for the first few levels. Then it starts to get extremely repetitive & dull. The CSI type parts of the game completely sucked & involved no skill. Condemned plays and looks like a bad dream, muddy controls and dark environments mixed with hazy story telling and ugly characters. These elements should not make for an enjoyable experience and they don't. But condemned is not meant to be enjoyable, its meant to be dark , unsettling, and downright terrifying and in this respect it succeeds.

Condemned is the scariest game I have ever played. It's a dark, scary, psychological thriller, with a good amount of scares for every location.

Some of its scenes still disturb me today. A sign of a great horror game done right!

A great start to what'll hopefully be a good franchise, though the second game kind of soiled it's good name somewhat when they gave Ethan powers. I especially liked the clue finding, CSI stuff.

Awesome game, felt a bit weird moving in the beginning, but running is enabled after a while. It gave me a scare or two, it is short but great, very intense and makes me want more, which is why I will certainly buy the second game of the series.
I have played it for 28 hours to get all achievements (played the whole game twice, first time in normal and then in the easy difficulty, just to get the birds and metal plaques).

Good game. It kept me entertained for a few hours, and that's the point. The weapons in the game felt right, but having to choose between melee and firearms bogged down the gameplay some, especially during the larger fights.

I did like the investigation system used in the game. I think that helped set it apart a little from other title.

My third Xbox 360 Game. It showed off some pretty impressive graphics for its time, and I loved the attention to melee weapons in the series, its what sets them apart. Run and gun aspects of old are replaced with this great melee combat mechanic. The enemies and locations are gritty and realistic, the story interesting and mysterious. Even though I have not played the game for some time, I only recall positives.
