Call of duty, World at War is a great game. It is a great addition to the franchise and certinatly packs a punch when it comes to multiplayer and co-op. the campaign in this FPS is fun and very action packed. the only critisism i have is that it can get quite repetetive and many of the levels follow simular patterns. I'm a fan for Nazi Zombie. Campaign for me was neutral. I don't mind WW2 games at all. I just think that CoD4 broke the mode for WW2 shooters in the Call of Duty series. Which is why I believe that many think of WaW as such a downgrade. There are a range of flaws that threaten to shoot down the experience. Only thing flawed for me is the multiplayer. The respawns are ridiculous, the level designs- which leads players to camp. CAMPERS is another immensely aggravating situation. Other than…

Not as good as COD4, but the maps create a variation if you are bored with the COD4 maps. Campaign can be played cooperatively. Multiplayer maps have a lot of bugs.

I love World at War. I hate WWI/II games. It's a love hate thing for me. The gameplay is solid, almost perfect. The engine runs as smoothly as ever. The customization only gets better but the grind is harder and less interesting than CoD 4 and less rewarding in my opinion. I also don't like looking at wooden weapons anymore.

Singleplayer: Definitely good, and the campaign co-op was a nice addition. It was a nice trip to the more brutal and dark side of WW2. The Nazi Zombie mode is the best co-op mode I've ever seen. 4.5/5
Multiplayer: Now this is where the problems are. There are about 20-25 new challenges, vehicles,... and that's it. Nothing really different from CoD4. 3/5
Overall: although it felt like an expansion pack, it did give me some really good moments.
Overall rate: 4/5
