The first Xbox 360 game I ever played, Call of Duty 2 blew me away with its clear and sharp visuals, as well as the intensity and variety of its action.
An intense and exciting experience, providing the cinematic thrills that Call of Duty does best. CoD2's campaign spans across Russia, North Africa and France, proving that WWII doesn't have to be a boring, done-to-death chore. One of the most atmospheric games you will play.
After having played a lot of them I'm not exactly big on World War 2 shooters, but I actually didn't mind CoD2. Great launch title, best multiplayer at the time. Fun, fun, fun.
This game was the one that made me purchase my XB360. It has fantastic game play, fun to replay, and had an awesome online community involvement. You can still find people to play online.
Cod 2 is the predecessor to Cod 4 (as Cod 3 was made by Treyarch) and is just as amazing in every way. Cod 4 works off of its engine, so it plays in the same addicting way. The story is addicting, and it mixes up situations at almost every turn. Whether it be from tanking across the Tunisia, to defending a crossroads in France, the game is a thrill ride the whole way.
Arguably one of the best WWII games ever. Incredibly challenging on Veteran. The story is great and the graphics are still impressive to this day. The D-Day mission is awesome too.
Fantastic storyline, great arrangement of different war campaigns and battles. This game also has has a great range of weapons. The storyline is only under 5 hours though, so it makes it a bit short. But overall I loved this game, and it has a great replay ability.
