Burnout Paradise (360)

eXoSammYlive's review for Burnout Paradise (360)

Burnout Paradise (360)

Burnout is one of my favorite games. I see it as a break from shooters and my other games. If no one's online then you can play single player where you drive around and smash billboards and fences while competing in races or taking down other vehicles. When I go online I can do stuff like racing but there are hundreds of challenges to do. They evolve doing drifts or barrel rolls. There are over 70 cars in the game plus almost 70 more cop cars and a lot more other content to buy from the Marketplace. I would recommend buying this game and down-loadable content right now from XBL Marketplace. I give this game 5/5 Stars.

  • The Video Gamer, you're not being specific. What flaws are there? Because of my year playing Paradise, there's nothing that's a large problem with me.

    Gameplay - 9/10
The main problem with the racing is the removal of Impact Time. In previous Burnout games, after you crash, you're given an opportunity to steer your wreck into other drivers, giving you a race-saving chance at first place. In Paradise, you'll have to make up lost space with shortcuts. But in the same sense, the gameplay is wonderful. Lots of cars to choose from,…

  • Most likely my favorite racing game of all time Burnout Paradise for the 360 is a great alternative to traditional racing games. Unlike most racing games Burnout Paradise features a large city map, so when you don't feeling like doing any of the events you can just cruise the town listening to music and destroying things like billboards and gates. Unlike most racing games where it isn't recommended that you crash, Burnout embraces it with its over the top wrecks and crashes, which is most likely my favorite part of…

  • Perfect game for the gamers who are looking for crash realism in street racing. Great scenarios of challenge. Heart throbbing speed and excitement in this game. Break all the rules. One of the best to me so far. Awesome!!!

  • Pure arcade and at the same time extremely casual. I love exploring the city and going at my own pace, and now and then going for a race, a stunt or any challenge. The multiplayer mode is also a lot of fun... I'm glad I bought this game.

Also, I love the party mode (local multiplayer hotseat). At first I was disappointed with not finding a split screen option, but the party mode is brilliant. You can set up to 8 players in hot-seat on a series of mini challenges…

  • Burnout Paradise, a fun romp through a city controlled by car shaped robots. The lack of people in this game is somewhat confusing, but, then again, it's not Grand Theft Auto on steroids. Other than that small issue, the game is pretty solid, especially when playing with other people. Other problems I had were the inability to restart a race, instead having to drive all the way back to the start. I also got frustrated with the crash cam every-single-time I got into a wreck at…

  • Another amazing iteration into the burnout franchise. This time things are a little different with an open world to roam around it. You find your own routes from point A to B. The city is huge and extremely detailed.
Personally, I prefer racing on a track as opposed to racing through an open environment such as Paradise City, but the game still delivers. Pieces of Paradise City will fill you with nostalgia as you recognize the bits from tracks in previous Burnout titles.

Criterion really delivers with the DLC in this game…

  • Game-breaking flaw: This game has WAY too many defects to be reliable for even occasional use.

  • GATUNEK: WYŚCIGI. Nie przepadam za wyścigami ale Burnout jest u mnie na 2 miejscu jeśli chodzi o ścigałki, na pierwszym jest znakomite Pure na quadach.

  • An open world with almost no limit to what you can do in-game. Unlike many racing games where roads and race tracks limit you to where you can go, Burnout Paradise is an open-world where a race can get you from Point A to Point B using any routes you choose to take. This is one of the better racing/driving games out there, with tons of places to explore and many things to do within it other than simply race. The game, however, is not without its…

  • Super fun game! Anybody can play! From beginners to veterans, just pick up the controller and have some fun! A nice feature is the ability to free roam with multiple people over Xbox Live, plus all the download content(DLC) that is available to make the game even better! I would highly recommend this game for anybody with a need for speed or just like to have fun!
