Eddie Riggs has been drawn back through time to a mythical world dripped in Rock and Roll folklore; where great Metal titans once ruled and power chords rang from the countryside for all to hear. When an oppressed people request Eddie’s knowledge of modern warfare, he pulls from his own experience in the only occupation he’s ever had, a roadie for a Heavy Metal band. Didn't like it

All style and no substance, every element of the game is just a watered down version of what it should be. RTS elements require little strategy, button-mashing attacks show signs of tactical wealth then grow no greater, and the pointless toing and froing across a boring landscape where there's little to do is just yawn-worthy. Funny, yes, fun, no.

Brutal Legend is a game, simply put, made for fans of heavy metal.

In fact, the only thing that detracts from it is the inclusion of RTS elements in the gameplay, which serve more to hinder the flow and feel than anything else. Without these elements dragging the gameplay down, Brutal Legend would have been a solid contender for Game of the Year.

If you're not a fan of metal, there isn't much for you to see here. The game is built on a simple Zelda principle. 1 hero,…

Brutal Legend is EPIC. Now, it's not for most hardcore gamers. The driving parts can be frustrating and can keep you on the edge of your seat. The story is simple but that's what's great about it. It's a simple story- but with wonderful characters. Nothing complex- yet it still leaves you with, well, a legend! The music choices for the game are fantastic. I actually found some new bands to listen to! And did I ever fall in love with Eddie Riggs and the whole Ironheade Crew. Wonderful voice…

Great story, AMAZING visuals, awesome writing, great controls and innovation. And to be quite honest, it's Pikmin-esque RTS combat style is AWESOME, I dont care what anyone else says.

GTA in Heavy Metal fantasy world.
Great setting. Great characters. Fine story, open world, whacky npcs, S&M, sexy babes... :)
Would have liked more work on sidequests instead of rts element, but that's just me.
- I had a great time playing it!

Brutal Legend for the Xbox 360 is a excellent title for any of you metal heads or action adventure people. Brutal Legend is a man named Eddie Riggs (voiced by Jack Black) a roadie for the present day Heavy Metal. One of the band members ends of breaking the set leading towards Eddie's death. Blood falls into the mouth of the necklace piece he wears. Then he is transported into the land of metal and thats how this epic rocking adventure begins. I give this game a solid 4.5/5. Hope…

while the writing, art design and RTS elements are great, everything else just seems like padding.
I was expecting more dungeon sections (like Zelda) and variety in the side quests. However the sub-missions are basically the same four activities repeated in different locations. You find yourself completing these distractions simply to gain currency not for the sake of exploration, which to me should the the priority for an adventure game.

Collectables are scattered throughout the land, but there isn't really any skill to finding them, you simply drive around…
