One of the best games I have played from 2009. The story was really good and made me want to keep going through the end. I was never bored with this game. I thought it was a fairly long game as well, especially compared to some others I have played that only last 7-8 hours on a first play through. I loved all of the gadgets you could use as Batman. This game truly brought Batman and all of the other characters to life. It was great seeing most of…

From the moment you step into the world of Batman: Arkham Asylum you realise that this is not your typical licensed game, as you watch the first cut-scene and listen to the fantastic voice-acting of The Joker being brought back to the psychiatric hospital Arkham Asylum, where a number of Gotham City’s deranged criminals have been imprisoned, it’s clear that this game is something more than that.

As the cut-scene unfolds it’s clear that The Joker wanted to be caught, he let Batman catch him easily and return him to the…

I love this freakin' game. If you are a fan of Batman, you should check it out. I loved the challenge room maps and the combat is really fun. I may be biased as I am a HUGE Bat-maniac.

Just finished the storyline last night. I marathoned this game basically straight through. I couldn't get enough of it. It took me a while to get used to, but after about an 1 1/2 hours worth of play I couldn't put it down. Storyline, Visuals (with the exception of Harley Quinn), and sound was great. Along with all the crazy gadgets and moves. I really felt like i was THE GOD DAMN BATMAN. Flying around, beating people down. It was endless fun. I also like the Riddler's challenges, and how…

Wow. Where to start?
It's fun and addicting right from the beginning. At first glance it would seem Batman: AA would be a mindless button masher, considering your main button for fighting in X. OR IS IT?

Most people on the surface will simply mash X in a fight (and it will work in the beginning) but once you incorporate counter moves, throws, dodging and gadgets.... you will BE Batman!

If you ever dreamed of what it would be like to be the dark knight, GET THIS GAME!

The bar has been set incredibly high for any sort of superhero video game from here on out. The fighting mechanics look fantastic with great animations and a real bone-crushing feel, while at the same time being executed in a fairly simplistic style allowing the player to decide how complex (or not) a battle will end up being. The story is fantastic and there's not nearly enough that can be said for the voice acting. It's all spectacular. The extra added bonus of the challenge rooms…

Ever wanted to be Batman?
Well now you can.

I haven't played a game that so successfully put me in the place of the protagonist since I first played the original Metal Gear Solid, or maybe the Twin Snakes remake on the Cube. Asylum is a slick, dark, and sexy looking game that makes you feel like the Dark Knight, and at times, Bruce Wayne. From the slow and dramatic intro where you walk the Joker in, to the KICKASS gadgetry, this game just screams care and craft. And the combat system in particular is especially…
