Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts embraces new and old fans alike, as the famous bear and bird duo return! High-definition gra more »phics, user-created content and online gameplay are just three of the many advances people of all ages and skill levels will discover as they embark on their adventure. The Lord of the Games (aka LOG) is tired of the petty squabbling between Banjo and the evil witch Gruntilda (aka Grunty), and has arranged a showdown to decide the rightful owner of Spiral Mountain. Claiming to have created every video game ever made, LOG has built the game worlds in which the contest’s challenges take place. As the comparison has been made you can think of Banjo Kazooie as a sort of Grand Theft Lego. While you wont be stealing cars or beating hookers here you still can take on a number of different missions at any given time at in any number of ways. And thats thanks to Nuts and Bolts deep vehicle creator tool. With it you can make any number of vehicles that operate on land, sea air or anything in between. Despite the game's friendly appearance though, there is a learning curve…

if you want the thrill of experiencing a game that looks and plays like a sub-par n64 game, this is your chance. i cannot believe that this was developed post '97.

Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is a game that never stopped being fun for me. It's an odd duck that doesn't fit into any conventional game genres and probably isn't right for everybody. Despite its friendly appearance, Nuts & Bolts isn't exactly easy to pick up and play and might be over the head of some small children. There's a lot of depth here and the vehicle creation tools allow you to flex your mind and your fingers at the same time. This is a great change of pace from the…

The concepts at play in Nuts and Bolts are pretty cool, but I had a hard time shaking the feeling that this should have been a platformer. It's gorgeous, which doesn't help because I would have loved to explore the world Rare created. Had they used these ideas to create a new IP, this would have been an easier pill to swallow and easily a must play. That being said, building vehicles had incredible depth and feels like virtual Legos. The game starts to fall apart though when you actually…

This game is a lot of fun, for those who like to build and create things, this game is for you. It's really cool putting together different parts, and making crazy things, and seeing what come out of it.

This is definitely a very fun game to play. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and the level layouts are definitely very cool. My only real gripe about this game is that the vehicle physics are spotty at best, meaning a bump can send you spinning out of control. Also, the variety of games could have been better. I would have liked more interesting mini-games to incorporate driving into, although I did like the soccer mini-game.
