I would like to hear people's thoughts on this game. I love Mass Effect and that is the soul decision maker on why I want to get Dragon Age. Is it good? I heard the graphics are sub par. Is that true?

I just bought it today. Been playing it for the past 6 hours nonstop. 'Nuff said.

In all seriousness though, the graphics are beautiful. Think Mass Effect, but bumped up to about Oblivion level. If you don't like the combat system of MMO-RPGs, then you won't like the combat at all though.

Yay, Yay, and Yay.

If you've played Neverwinter Nights. The play style is really close. At least I think it is. I've put about 8 hrs into it so far, and haven't had one complaint. Everything about the game is done right.

I would concur. I bought Dragon Age and it is a good Oblivion meets Mass Effect meets Knights of the Old Republic feel, with great graphics and a well-developed storyline.

The characters are easy to tab through and set up their Tactics, the battle system is simple enough. My only CON to the game would be that I have a Phenom Tri-Core and 4 GB of RAM with a 512 HD Card and the game seems to lag a little bit, while I have zero processes running in the background. But L4D2 runs flawlessly.

So, Excellent game, over all -- worth picking up.

Does anyone know if they're planning an MMO-addition?

Are there any benefits to picking up this game on PC vs PS3? I am thinking about getting the PS3 version (making it the 2nd game I will have for my PS3 lol). Are the graphics potentially better on PC?

Also, what do you mean when you say combat system of MMORPGs? They all have different combat systems. The only Bioware game I've played is Jade Empire, is it comparable to that at all?
