Hi, welcome to my page! :D

My name's Katie and I'm Canadian, born August 4th.
Generally I'm an optimistic person. I've got good friends, lovely pet cat, great family, and a nice little home. When I get a job I'll be the happiest lady on Earth!

First off, I enjoy everything and anything to do with manga. Anime, cosplay...you name it. I'm an otaku to the core. Games are also a part of my life. I'm not truly happy until I have a controller in my hand. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, cartoons (the older, demented ones), and TV shows. Dexter, Carnivale, Flight of the Conchords, Arrested Development, and CSI (later known as CSI: Las Vegas) are my favourites. Music and dancing are also my loves. If there's a good beat I will move to it. I'm not too into sports but I do enjoy swimming, ice skating, street hockey, and occasionally soccer. I love hanging out on the beach, even though sand is overrated. It's just tiny little rocks. ;)
I have a weird and sometimes sarcastic sense of humour. I tone it down a lot with people I don't know too well, but I look forward to the day when I can just be me.

I haven't added all my games yet. There's still the Wii ones, PC ones, and a whole bunch of PS2 and Xbox ones.

      I had a hard time deciding if I should give this a three or a four. I decided on a three because all in all, it is a very disappointing game. Almost all of the magic from the first is not present in this game, and they took out so many things it's ridiculous. It seems as though it was made for m more »ultiplayer, and the single player was a side thing. If it was your first time playing either Bioshock, you'd enjoy this. I wasn't looking for any problems, and I was barely comparing it at all when I started playing. In fact, I absolutely loved it. But 10 minutes into the game, the spell wore off. An hour later I was getting a little bored. I'm not saying you shouldn't get it. But be a little cautious. « less

    Yeah Nocturne is amazing. The one thing you should know though, is that there isn't anything like Social Links in Nocturne or Digital Devil saga. So if you were like "Zomg RPG + Dating Sim = awesomeness!" for Persona 4. There's no Dating sim portion for the others, lol. That's reserved for Persona 3 and 4. Just a friendly warning, just in case that was something you were expecting to be in the games.

    In other news, I got ME2 today for Comp. I played it for like 4 hrs before I quit to wait for 360 version. My computer isn't so good, so I was getting like 15 FPS (terrible lol). But damn is it not freaking amazing. I didn't think they could make it THAT much better than the first, it's kind of insane. I love it.

    Ah, well I think 4 is the best of the persona series. 3 is really good though, it's a little more dungeon crawly through, and you can't control your party members like in 4 which really sucks. The social links aren't as fun as 4's either (only because they are near impossible to max out in one play through) They are fixing all that with the PSP version though.

    If you haven't played other Shin Megami Tensei games before, I would really suggest Nocturne, and Digital Devil Saga 1+2 (Both PS2). If you have a Nintendo DS Devil Survivor is also another really great one. All of the SMT games are really good. But Nocturne is probably the best one ever made, followed by Digital devil saga. Then I would say Persona 4 comes after those. But Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga (More so DDS) are pretty hard. Unless your really quick on learning boss patterns, your pretty much guaranteed to lose on them the first time, lol. At least that's what I encountered when I played them. That was a few years ago when I was still a noob at SMT games though, so who knows.
