  Please do NOT listen to anyone who complains about offensive content in this game. The very existence of these unfounded complaints annoys and angers me. Apparently people think that double-standards are fine when it comes to video games. Sure, it's perfectly fine for innocent people to die in mo more »vies as a plot device, but heaven forbid video games start doing the same thing! This is a game about [pretend] war and terrorism. If you have a severe aversion to either [pretend] war or [pretend] terrorism, then why are you playing it? If you're not a bumbling dullard, like many of the critics and some of the reviewers, you will NOT want to skip anything in this game. By the conclusion of the airport mission (the main culprit behind most of these criticisms), my jaw literally dropped. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I highly suggest you play through the game in its entirety. The game is rated M for a reason. The story was written to include more mature themes for a reason. That mission is in the game for a reason. The plot is supposed to elicit an emotional response from you, but please don't confuse these ill feelings with your thoughts about, and assessment of, the game itself. « less
