There are some gears in the mechanism that opens and closes the tray so it's definitely a good idea to make sure no bits are stuck anywhere inside the drive. They might also disrupt the laser that reads the disc. Btw was the disc in question a DVD or CD? CD's usually spin much faster and are also less durable. Same thing happened years ago to a friend of a friend with his top-of-the-line (in terms of speed at least) CD-drive.

If were talking about a desktop PC then yeah, you should be able to open it with a screwdriver after taking the whole unit out from the PC case. Dont' know about laptops though. If you're worried that the same might happen again, you should get a program that can limit the maximum speed of the drive like Nero DriveSpeed.

It's great! Wish it was longer of course :D! Almost got through on expert but the tank keeps ruining it. He seems much smarter than before.

Sounds like your firewall is allowing only some info to be sent. Try to find a place were all programs' access rights are listed in your firewall program, and then give the raptr client full access rights.

But I see that now it shows that you've played 3 hours of RCT2, so did you solve the problem already?

  • matsku84 said: Jun 05

I think your firewall might not be allowing the client to send the playing time data to raptr. To determine this, you should play another PC game and see is the time spent on that appears in your profile. All your Xbox360 games show correct playing times, right?

That's really strange since it does show when you started playing RCT2, but not in your last played games. Did you start RCT2 from the Raptr client or by some other means?
