Think Mario platforming puzzles with everything unfair. Land on the edge of a platform, where every other game will make your player stand on it, this one wants you to fall. And it's just impossible to perform the same jump twice. Once you figure how to end a level, you have to try the same movement until luck and random parameters align in your way.
Once you figured all of this, you cope with it or never play the game again.
Multiplayer could be fun tho
No game on Xbox stands the comparison. Laggy, shitty interface, gross and unfair community, but still the more visceral, beautiful, greatlooking, explosive game for Xbox Live.
No game after can make you forget it's awesomeness. Everything playing taste like sand once you get to bite it.
Lot of money but lots of fun. Character design is far better than in GH3. Just spent summer nights rocking on it with friends and some morjitos. The messy interface and no online band career mode were a bit anoying though.
Versus shooter with fighters command is a great idea; think of Virtual On. Mangaesque Chara Design is great.
Sadly Story and Mechas aren't so good, but the game's worth a try at a bargain price.
Everybody seems over hyped by the game, but I see a big flaw in it : it's an XBLArcade game and it's not compatible with the ARCADE Stick.
The last stage forces you to change for a pad as you need a right stick. And everybody knows that changing controller in a middle of a game is not that easy on 360.
Anyway Arcade games needs to be compatible with Arcade controllers. It sound like Captain Obvious, and developper Grin now sound as Captain Stupid to my ears.
Japan is weakening, here's the proof. Poor Online modes, average chara design, no zoom in action or dynamic replays, no team VS, no multiplayer championship, stories are ridiculous, and character creation is painfull.
The hype is pushing this game, but it's all like playing in the 90s. Nothing new, nothing fun.
Once you figured all of this, you cope with it or never play the game again.
