    • Elite in TERAOct 24 2012 at 11:05pm Minea: Hello! :) I'd say my favorite part of being in the TERA production team always has been getting a chance to actually participate on how TERA develops/evolves. It sounds generic, but when you're in the middle of these sometimes it feels surreal (in the best way) to actually be able to see your work become meaningful. Working with people I'd love to hang out outside of work is definitely a plus.

  • Elite in TERAOct 17 2012 at 4:04am Hi :) I would first like to say thank you, the changes you've been doing thus far has been great and I hope it continues.I have a couple questions. I'm a main mystic and I'm getting tired of being told to roll a priest as a mystic is not suitable for "hard" content. Do you have any plans on buffing the mystic class so that the two healer classes are more balanced and a priest is not hugely favored over a mystic? Are there any plans on a more permanent solution to the crystal shortage? Alot of crystals have gone down in price since the merge however anarchics are still 200g each. Are there any plans on bringing back some of the old content like you did with crafting quests? ( Boxes of mischief, destiny/lucky eggs for repeatables)
    • Elite in TERAOct 24 2012 at 8:14pm Minea: Here is a part of what I answered in a similar question on mystics and class balance, "Class balance is always being looked at to see if there is room for improvement and it's the same with TERA. We are aware that there is some concerns on certain classes from our different feedback sources (including the mystic) and this is being looked at." As for the crystals, we are always looking at the data and the community feedback to see whether something will benefit our players and improve TERA, whether it be through events or through more lasting methods.

  • Oct 17 2012 at 4:14am Before production even began what where your thought, plans and/or ideas on how to set Tera apart from the rest of the subscription based mmo market?(Follow Up) And have those thought, plans, ideas deviated for better or worse from the originals. (Ending) And if so, have any of the competition had anything to do with your past, present and/or near future changes or tweaks to development plans, especially where content or Tera Lore is concerned?   • Experienced in TERAOct 17 2012 at 6:00am I have a question. Are there any plans on adding more content for lower lvl characters to try and keep people playing longer instead of quitting before getting to all the stuff available at lvl 60? For example reputation, you can't start getting that until lvl 58, it would be nice if that was lowered so while lvling to 60 players can also get into that a bit.

  • Experienced in TERAOct 17 2012 at 6:38am I have one serious question. Will there ever be an actual assassin class? I mean a class like the warrior, but focuses more on DPS, debuffs and the like? Or a necromancer class? Or even more mage-related classes in general? I think a necro would be awesome, or a class that specializes in DoTs/Curses.
    • Elite in TERAOct 18 2012 at 4:55pm They could easily do this with the mystic class ... wouldn't be a dedicated "necro" class but it's the only class that has a normal dot that I'm aware of (if you don't count archer poison).

      • Experienced in TERAOct 18 2012 at 8:59pm I really wish they would... I agree the mystic has a great starting point. They need more diversity and branch off the classes into others... I feel as though the current classes don't really fit any of my direct play-style. (I like the Mage for AoEs, but it seems as though they are pretty weak so far) I'm level... 10 or so, a fresh start, but it seems as though the archer does twice as much damage at the same level...

It's more realistic they would simply add additional classes.

  • Newbie in TERAOct 17 2012 at 7:57am • I've noticed that when it comes to builds in crystals and stats, there seems to be a "meta" arising that boils down pvp and pve needing a particular stacked stat to be at all viable. What do you think about the "meta" status of Tera? Does the development team support a meta and having a stat ceiling that people need to hit, or are you looking at future options letting people more customize to their play style? • Archers are a largely underpowered class, so much so that I've heard of high-level archers getting kicked from instances just because of their low damage potential. Having one of the lowest (or THE lowest) health pools in the game, healers included, why do they have to be within 8 meters to do maximum damage? I play a Slayer, and if I see an enemy archer I have at least 3 options to get within range instantly. If they Backstep my first lunge, I still have 2 more abilities (3-hit Distant Strike and the charge). Sorcs have the CC to keep archers in range, and unless they're fighting a healer they are also being out-damaged because they need to be THAT close to deal full damage. I wanted to suggest, why not make archers deal their damage at max range, but make the range windows smaller? 0-8 = 70% damage, 8-20 = 85%, 20-24 = 100% (not sure of the actual percentages, just an example here). It would encourage better positioning and help it become a more viable high-skill class instead of "sit behind it and get real close, hope it doesn't turn around and 1-shot you." • Lastly, the Mystic healing is, in a word, inefficient. A tank in a high level, really intense boss fight wont want to have to take time off from keeping aggro and damage up (or, as a warrior, miss a dodge because they have to look away) to have to manually pick up a health drop. I've also seen a lot of Mystics complaining about being kicked from dungeons because they don't have viable heals. My advice is to make their orbs work like archer traps, but for healing. Not aoe healing, just a small area on the ground that someone can trigger by walking over it and gaining the effects whether it is increased mana or increased health. They can still set up their heals before a fight and let a tank place themselves where they need to to pull the boss where they can be healed as needed without wasting much-needed time. Just a few thoughts/questions I had. Love the game, and can't wait until I'm working again to pay for the subscription!

  • Elite in TERAOct 18 2012 at 9:02am My comment has nothing to do with the game mechanics, but instead with the lore. The Goddess Elinu created the Elin from her own essence. Does that mean that all the Elin that are around now in game were created then or did they manage to figure out a different means of reproduction? And if they have been around since the dawn of time, why were so many level one? After all, they've been around for centuries. Why are they only now deciding, despite having been tasked with protecting Arun, to actually train in something combative?

A common refrain from a long-ago elin might be, “Another petty mortal empire...<sigh>. We have other, greater affairs.” There are some exceptions in TERA’s history, but not many. What drew the elins out? The argons, which represent a threat against the world of TERA itself, not just whichever mortal nations happened to be extant at the time."

  • Newbie in TERAOct 18 2012 at 9:23am The biggest question I have, what is going on in Northern Arun? There is plenty of space in there for an expansion of some kind, and I'm not familiar with any plans or content releases opening that particular area up. There was a city opened up that has NPCs available there but no quests or objectives. Are there any plans in the works to expand into this area?
    • Oct 22 2012 at 8:42pm According to lore, there is an army of pissed off Devas that are sealed away there to stop them from attacking the rest of the world. If/when we go there, that will likely be the focus. I expect them to be the big enemies once the argons are dealt with or maybe they've already allied with the argons or even been conquered then argonized.

  • Hardcore in TERAOct 18 2012 at 10:24am Will we see more "class buffing" much like the mid October Berserker buff, in the very near future? There seems to be a number of classes that are in desperate need of balancing. (ie: Mystic too weak, Archer too weak, Berserker too slow, etc).
    • Elite in TERAOct 19 2012 at 8:58pm You are very wrong on most of that statement. Yes some classes do need more balancing. For instance, why are slayers so ezmode great? They just gave Berserkers a huge patch that makes them hella faster and hit harder. Every Berserker I talk to loves this new patch, and I've noticed the difference in pvp and pve. Archer's are too weak? You aren't seeing any good archers then. They are the top PVPers because of what EME has given them in an earlier patch, etc. Ever stepped into one of their Rain of arrows? Tell me when you do. PVE wise, you have to know how to play them to be good, and I know a lot of good ones. Mystic though, you are right. They got less PVP damage decrease in the big patch than a priest, and don't even have a self heal. There is a character imbalance, but you did the exact opposite. Slayers and Priests need to be nerfed some. Almost impossible to kill Priests, and Slayers...seriously? You even gave them a ranged skill when they aren't ranged (the pushing air shit 4 times in a row). I would say warriors for several reasons, but they have terrible stuns that lead to deaths a lot (and are great in pve). As a player of a 60 Sorc and 60 Priest, I understand. Ofc I'd like stuff for Sorcs, but were already a powerhouse. Bottom line, it's pretty equal with what they've added, they just need to nerf priests and slayers a bit, and give mystic a little boost.

      • Hardcore in TERAOct 19 2012 at 10:27pm I am sorry, but you are very mistaken. One only needs to visit the official forums and read a little, or ask around in game, and people will tell you to your face - Archers are removed from parties in exchange for Sorcs/Slayers all the time. They do most of their damage within 8m I think it is - part of the issue with them. It is foolish to only look at one aspect of the game, or base all your comments on the people you know. As for zerks - I never said no one liked the new patch - however it didn't address the main issue with the class, which is its basic attack skill+mana builder. That skill is pitiful in every regard. It is slow, clunky and if i am not mistaken, one of the weakest, if not the weakest basic attack in the game. Honesty, all that new patch did for berserkers, was increase the damage for over-charging a couple of skills. Which is why they reduced the recharge time for the vampiric leech attack, so you could get the hp back (because they also doubled the HP loss for over charging). In PvP you will almost never overcharge - so moot point there. They also didn't address the movement speed issue with this class. You need to spend the majority of your points in getting rid of all the movement debuffs on your skills to make the class even playable. Priests don't need to be nerfed, mystics need to be brought more in line with Priests, so they are a viable alternative. Many mystics get left by the side of the road because people simply want priests which are better. Yes, mystics can be useful as a support character - but if you only need 1 healer, there is zero reason to take a mystic over a priest. Which is wrong. Mystics also have TERRIBLE damage. Next time you just flat out accuse someone of being wrong/ignorant of what they are discussing, perhaps you should do a little reading yourself beforehand.

My basic views: NERF some: Slayers and Priests HELP: Mystics I am PVP based, though I do PVE. If someone knows how to play a class/toon they can be amazing. People ask for Archers end game on my server. Go to the 8m or dont do as much damage. Most archers dont in fear= most dont do the proper damage= most seem bad = most arent wanted in pve. You add more for pve, which isnt needed, they will only be better in PVP(they are best). -Cant find a negative for slayers. & priests have short cd on heals and most added pvp decrease damage= reasoning for nerf them. Slayers = ezmode everything, why they wanted so much. Ungeared slayer has a better chance vs geared person than any other ungeared class. Zerkers dont have worst basic attack. get the right rotation, skills, glyphs they do fine. Lots of zerks never complain one bit and they are the best on the server, maybe if they take advice from them. MANA & MANA REGEN IS ISSUE FOR ALL , except maybe warriors. If it isn't you arent doing enough dps/taunt/heals. Forums arent a viable source as well. Most arent max lvl, havent experiemented with over glyphs, skills, rotations etc. Forums is a place to QQ as well, so a lot of it isnt even legit. Not all players are on forums as well ;] Looks like the same boat for us. TERA doesnt make heals be damage classes like other games, example Aion. Mystics need more pvp defense, and maybe a better heal or two- they just need some work. I can 1v1 a mystic any day of the week and win or have a fair chance. A priest? Fuck no. I play a priest, it's hard to take me down and I'm not even geared on her! Mystics do fine in PVE if your party isnt dumbshit walking all into aoes/etc (same with priests though)

          • Hardcore in TERAOct 19 2012 at 2:28am @kai421 I have to disagree, yet again. No class needs to be nerfed. In fact, nerfing is almost NEVER needed, and a lot of the time when people cry "NERFED!", they are in fact, talking about fixes. Now, looking at the slayer and the priest - nothing NEEDS to be fixed. Nothing needs to be nerfed either. The glaring differences we see, are the short comings of the other classes. Sure, any class can beat any class, provided certain requirements are met. However, there comes a time when you reach a plateau, where you can't do any more damage, or you can't heal that fast, etc, and this is where we start to see the gaps. Because player skill can only attribute so much to the character your playing. You need a certain amount of raw materials to work with, and some classes simply have more. Plain and Simple. This is why I have said, repeatedly now, that other classes need to be brought up and balanced with their counter-parts, vs, nerfing - which only serves to enrage large portions of the population for reason at all. Since you don't really seem to read anything I write, or you seem very intent on taking a single thing I say out of context, and then try and build an argument around it. I don't see any reason to continue replying. I'd prefer not to turn this in to a big flame war. Bottom line - 4 Classes rule Tera, Sorc, Lancer, Priest, Slayer. EVERYTHING else, needs to be rebalanced, to be brought more in line with these 4 classes. With a possible exception of the lancer - since they are the only real tank class in the game, still it would be nice to see more options given to the shield based warrior, but thats neither here nor there. End of the day, classes are unbalanced. They need to be fixed, and buffs are better than nerfs.

            • Experienced in TERAOct 20 2012 at 11:27am @ejester I've got a lv 60 archer. Never been booted from a party for being one, and I don't have problems with my dps. Without question, archers hold the spot for best in PvP, which you can see on the TERA website yourself. Achers are also not bad in PvE. Yes, they do most of their damage at melee range, but they are given TWO backsteps skills to avoid getting hit. They are also given skills to boost attack power significantly. They are also very useful in a team because of the range of stun and slow abilities they have. On more than one occasion I have saved a tank from getting his face smashed in by throwing down a well-timed trap. Of course, you're probably going to keep your oppinnion, but as someone who has played an archer through to 60 and experienced much of the endgame, I believe that the archer class is pretty damn awesome. :)

              • Oct 24 2012 at 8:29pm @Fayrie I agree, I solo'd everything as an Archer and most of my "killing-blows" were melee ranged but I would take at least 50% HP off normal mobs while questing using my ranged skills before I had to use my backsteps and finish them off. Archers, if played correctly, are more than great in this game. You probably have just run into bad players @ejester

                • Dedicated in TERAOct 25 2012 at 8:02am @EJESTER I'm a 155 PVE 154 PVP Slayer on PVP server, I've done just about every zone (not MCHM yet) and I have no problem running with any class, every class brings their own piece to the puzzle. I leveled an Archer to 44 but I'm pretty sure I was doing it wrong because I could never kill more than 3 mobs without having to wait for 5 minutes while my health and mana regen'd. In PVP, there's not a whole lot that's OP about any class, there are terrible slayers out there, and there are great mystics. 80% of the time I get kills with distant blade is because people are running away like a beaten dog. Let's not forget that the warrior backstab ability is the same range as distant blade, and has a stun built in. My backstab is only 10m with a slim possibility of rooting someone. Good players won't get hit while they're rooted by me 1v1, you can dash/jaunt backstep at the right time and avoid any of my attacks (Yes a rooted player can backstep and avoid damage from any attack when timed correctly). Priests are overpowered??? Why? Because they never die? Well, if you remember before the patch they had about the same PVP defence as sorcs, thing is, they had reflect which deterred people from attacking them, and they can heal themselves obviously, so targeting them wasn't in your best interest. Now that they've made it all but worthless to use reflect gear (unless you are a sorc and use lvl 12 reflect gear and stoneskin glitch it *FIX IT EME*) they had to give priests some sort of survivability to avoid death so they can heal they're companions, a dead priest is really bad news for a PVP group. If the healer dies then it's not worth fighting anymore, that's why the old PVP strat was focus the healer. Now it doesn't make sense to do that, maybe send a warrior or archer to bother the priest to keep heals off others, but now the main focus is to DPS through priest/mystic heals on one individual at a time. Mystics on the other hand, yeah they need a buff somehow, idk what needs to be done with them, but they just fall short of Priest in every way now. Priests are now better than mystics at restoring mana (I would know being a slayer). Plus Mystics don't have anywhere near the healing capability or surviveability of Priests. As far as PVE goes, each dungeon has mechanics that each class has a way around or to counter. Unfortunately in MC, I haven't found a way to fight Manaya without a sorc.... but I guess nobody has found the "right" way to get rid of ALL those adds. But anywhere else, every class brings something different to the table, slayer's have burst dps and decent AOE capability, warriors have constant dps plus 2 defence debuffs and amazing surviveability, 3 involnurability moves "plus" block, zerkers are add destroyers and burst dps (DAT CYCLONE HNNNGGHH), Archers are CC gods plus a high ranged dps, Sorcs are glass cannons with ice attacks to slow mobs. Each class has a certain playstyle, and there are good and bad players in every class

  • Newbie in TERAOct 18 2012 at 2:53pm Does enmasse plan on elaborating on tera lore in our version of the game? I hope I'm not the only fan wanting to know more about the world our characters live in, and our version of the game seems to lack a lot of the lore presented in k-tera.

The trick with in-game lore, of course, is making sure it doesn't interrupt your gameplay. Right now we're working on a content update that will advance the main storyline and change the world of TERA dramatically. You can count on learning much more about the world you live (and play!) in."

  • Elite in TERAOct 18 2012 at 12:18am Are there any plans to tighten up the group matchmaking process and decrease the queue times? The queues are still pretty lengthy (at least for sub-60 dungeons) even after the merge. It's also all too common to queue for a group, wait a long time, get into a group, and have the leader simply be afk outside. There's no way to collectively vote for a new leader or only have the leader assignment go to someone who has actually entered the dungeon.

  • Dedicated in TERAOct 18 2012 at 2:46am Why do we need a party? I should be able to take on BAM solo (sometimes I can). Why wont you implement a dynamic reaction for BAMs with the variable being how many players are attacking it? Why dont you support your gamepad fully? I think, NONE, of your support team use the gamepad. And if you really want the title of "action rpg" then your game should be better played with the gamepad. Why wont they bring monster hunter online to the rest of the world!!?

Depending on the class and play style, there will always be mobs that are easier or harder. Hm, implementing scalable difficulty/reaction for BAM's is an interesting idea. :)

  • Elite in TERAOct 18 2012 at 4:14am I think everyone is looking or asking for some new spice in Tera, but I think no one could quite figure out what. The game is great in my opinion, but does En Masse have anything coming soon that would make all their fans giggle like school girls?

  • Oct 18 2012 at 5:20am Even though it's been less than a day I can see that your gamble boxes are doing quite successful. Plan on selling seasonal boxes more often? Perhaps make the boxes 1 time tradable like Chronoscrolls as well?

    • Elite in TERAOct 24 2012 at 7:26pm Treeshark here. Yes, there are new battlegrounds (3v3s, 5v5s) which will be coming down the pipeline. They go live in KR soon, and we are working with BHS to bring that over to the NA market but there is no ETA yet. They won't be a cap style map like the current 15v15 and focused more on team deathmatches. The Battlegrounds Tournament coming up on November 10th/11th will have gear equalization. If that bodes well we could also see something like that implemented in the future as well.

  • Elite in TERAOct 19 2012 at 9:14pm Although I believe TERA still has a few things to fix internally, balance etc, I have a question on the 'glamour' of TERA. Will TERA ever get Pets (with a purpose or not?), houses (guild, vanarch, personal), or more? Another question. Now that crafting doesn't really require much effort or Materials, will EME be adding in a component that makes these Mats we so often get (and gathering) necessary? Is there a use for them? And my last question. It's an idea I had. Ever think of selling a mount that can mount up in all instances? Ofc that could lead to people trying to skip most the instance, etc. But you could keep the trash mobs following them all throughout, etc. I think it be a big seller.

  • Oct 22 2012 at 7:40pm Playing Nexus in its current state is akin to watching a really bad stop motion video. The rest of the game plays fine with my video settings on preset 4, but preset 0 + Nexus = ugly and unplayable. Are there any plans to address this or perhaps remove this requirement to enter raids?

    • Elite in TERAOct 24 2012 at 12:52am Minea: This is on our want-to-do list and although we've been able to separate the RP server and get the /emote for the community, we've also been focusing on features that has an impact in gameplay itself. Some of the examples would be the changes in enchanting, BG score tweaks, working on nexus, etc. At the moment we don't have an immediate plan for the specific features mentioned in the question, but these requests are certainly not forgotten.

Sometimes we do have in-game methods of obtaining the items, usually through event drops. Like right now, in the Halloween Event there will be chances that the Boneshaker Mount will drop.

The Masquerade Mayhem event is a good example of the mix (both on how to get/earn the items and BoE/BoP aspects) and we'll continue paying attention to what our community wants.

  • Amateur in TERAOct 23 2012 at 1:22pm So seeing as Mystics seem to have/still are being highly ignored, my question for you guys is if you plan to release any future buffs/fixes to the Mystic? The only thing we really have going for us at this point is our mana regen aura and our crit rate auras. Priest continues to receive buffs when not needing any fixes really and even has better beneficial stats on their class specific tier 14 gear than the Mystic does... quite troublesome really. I was hoping to at least possibly see some minor things that would benefit mystic done in the future. Such as maybe a backstep or a retreat skill added, since as of right now all Mystic has is tele jaunt and it tends to "rubberband" a lot... and once that's on cooldown you're pretty much out of luck if it failed and you need to move away ASAP. Making hp orbs give health instantly back instead of regening over time would also be a lovely change for when I need that health for myself ASAP (it already heals for a lot less than a priest's self heal as it is and let's face it we can't spam the heck out of our healing fairy like a priest can their self heal cause of cooldown, so picking up our own vital orbs + the small 10% health back for every one casted glyph is our only other option for selfheal and it still gives back a lot less than priest...). A minor healing boost of some sort would also be nice for Mystic's to get us more balanced with Priest, nothing crazy because obviously we're not just primarily heal like a Priest but at least a boost that makes a difference in the heal performance of Mystic's in a group. Ah I could go on for awhile... :) but I'll leave it at those few things. Hope to hear if you guys have any future plans of fixing/balancing for the Mystic.

We know it's not perfect, but we're always looking at ways to keep making it better. BAM fights still remain fun for me despite having done so many the past few years in working on the game. Battlegrounds also offers me a good way to see how I work in a team vs solo. (And yes, we'll be addressing those who drop out).

What brought about the idea to implement them in the game, and did anything have to change to add them in (balancing, etc)?

A few things had to change to implement, the one that comes to mind is which direction your skills will be aimed (character facing or camera facing).

Being a Vanarch and founder of one off the best guilds (NSMBacon), what are your plans to address the guild management system? Right now there is no way to give the guild to another member while Vanarch. Additionally no way to give an officer full Guild Access while on vacations or prolonged time away from Tera. Prime example our current GM is moving from overseas to the states and will be away for 2 weeks.

Even though it does seem that Mystics are not as good as Priests at level 60, they are still a very fun and unique class compared to healers in other games. As a whole i think the game is great, but the nexus was really dissappointing from an in-game quality of life point of view since its the best way(or only) to aquire agnitor rep and credits. Is BHS aware of the our general discontent on nexus and planning on improving this in some way? or is it just working as intended, and should I accept that it is?

I particularly enjoy exploring the environment in Tera and I have noticed in my travels that there are many "hard to get to" spots in Tera---so hard in fact, that it take a good bit of skill to reach them, yet these areas seem planned and not incidental. However, I never find anything there except for a great view! Is there any chance that there may be an easter egg type reward in such places as a future event or new content in an expansion? (I would personally like to see a scavenger hunt of epic proportions with difficult puzzle-type clues for people to work out over time to find the correct locales.) Even a small reward would delight die-hard explorers such as myself and might engage more players in immersing themselves more into this splendid environment you have created for us to play in. Thanks again for your time and please pass along my compliments to your graphics folks! XD

There is a set of steep glowing steps spiraling around a very high pinnacle of rock overlooking the sea. Gorgeous! Another is a small private lagoon surrounded by a small beach and cliffs. It has no mobs and a reef of fish along the coast in between Cutthroat and Serpentis Isle. It is the sort of place I might take a loved one.

  • Oct 24 2012 at 1:16am Hello, I love about how Tera is so far and its gameplay since Open Beta (definitely feels like I'm in the battle and not standing around and looking at skills). Now while playing through contents to level 60, I noticed one thing that i believe makes it a turn off for a good number of gamers. This would be the quests in Tera. The "kill x and bring y items" nomenclature that many asian MMOs are fond of. I'm wondering if you are planning on making the quests more dynamic and interesting instead of the ole blantant grinding of quests to bring more people into the game? I personally believe making the quest interesting will defintiely bring old and new plaeyrs (heck even GW2 people who got bored) back in.

I appreciate that enchanting has gotten an increased chance of success(though i still seem to be struggling in comparison to the lucky ones), but i was wondering if there has been any discussion of increasing the chance to masterwork an item??...i've used A TON of scrolls over the past few months and have only been able to masterwork one item a few months ago...incidentally i'm still using that outdated item because i can't get ANY of my other gear to masterwork...its gotten extremely frustrating. 2). There is no question that this game is severely 'grind' oriented...you can't get anything good without giving up a huge amount of your time...while GVG's are fun in open world...they ruin nexus...with the horrible lag and zerg guilds it can be impossible to get any points, or sometimes get enough stacks to even enter the Traverse...this often ends with me extremely angry that i gave up my time(especially my weekends) to have some guild decide that they are going to shut out another smaller guild completely from the nexus because they have the numbers advantage...is anything going to be done about this? I joined a pvp server because i enjoy pvp, but this is something i didn't expect and am very dissapointed with. it's gotten bad enough that im playing guildless so i can get my points 3). The battleground is fun(though i can't wait for new maps), but all too often lately(nearly every time) we get matched with people from the huge zerg guilds on our server...they're gear is better(props to them for being able to win so much), but when you constantly get pounded into the ground by the same people with significantly better gear than you...it sucks the fun right out of it...is there a plan to try to group players by gear level or some sort of equalization? i have thoroughly enjoyed playing this game and i want to continue to do so...but my patience has been wearing thin on these issues and could end up causing me(and im sure others) to leave for hopefully greener pastures if something isn't done...i can handle a grind for gear...but some of these things make the grind WAY harder and more time consuming than it needs to be...

We understand it can be frustrating, but maybe some sort of alliance can be made/utilized? We'll continue to monitor this though. 3) We're aware of this feedback and we're always brainstorming how to improve our bg's, so we'll continue to work on it.

  • Oct 24 2012 at 1:26am Hey EME, thanks for coming out and doing this Q&A with the players. As a level 60 warrior, my biggest pet peeve is having to go to a major city in order to switch my Glyphs. I have Glyph setups for Edge based DPS, non-Edge DPS, Tanking, Mobbing, and BAM soloing, but it's really annoying to have to go back to a major city and manually select all the glyphs again. Has your team put any thought into adding Glyph presets to make switching easier, or to make this accessible via smaller towns/outputs, or even through some sort of Glyph Reset Scroll? I'm fine with the price of the glyph reset it's just a bother going to a major town every time I want to change.

    • Oct 30 2012 at 9:03pm It's definitely something I wish I had on multiple characters. It's not unique to Warriors, look at Priests for example. Switching between healing glyphs or DPS glyphs. I noticed my Archer has a glyph for Radiant Arrow to do double damage to normal monsters, which is wasted in a group/raid, but good for farming. (really wish it worked on BAMs though!)

  • Oct 24 2012 at 2:04am Can you put a 30 minute or 1 hour cooldown on Outlaw Declaration And debuff it upon death It's kinda annoying when a level 60 is destroying lowbies and no one can do anything about it. Killing him doesn't matter since he can stroll right back and start another massacre. There's no kind of reward for killing infamous nor is there a penalty for being infamous. It's pretty much a troll skill.

The game is already rated M and it would be sooo nice to enjoy their true outfits without the mod (many elin's end up standing on rather than riding their mounts Lol)

  • Oct 24 2012 at 5:45am Hello:), i remember during the making of Tera one of the developers said that we might get an open pvp system like that in Aion where we would go to thier "World" but seeing how theres no other world in Tera like that in Rift with Defiant and Guardian i kinda feel like this might not happen. Can i still have hope? Maybe something like an argon race and they have their own world.
