Once upon a time I read an article about how the new Xbox was superior to the Playstation 2. I went and bought an Xbox right away. I saw Halo there on the shelf with other games. I didn't buy it because I thought that in three months it would evaporate. I kept hearing people at work and seeing things on the news talk about this Halo game. The next day was a Friday and I asked some of my Army buddies at the time,(Yes I used to be in the Army), about Halo. I told them I keep hearing Halo this, Halo that. They said, "What? You don't have Halo? Oh you will like it a lot!" They went on and on about Halo. I went to the PX after work and picked up a copy of the game. I woke up on the couch at about 7 am with the game still going and kept playing until I finished that level and went and ate and took a shower. I then returned to the game and kept playing. I played that game right up until Halo 2 came out. I made my Xbox live account 11/24/04 and that's the first time I played on Halo matchmaking. Aside from my absence due to being deployed to Iraq twice, I have played ever since. Right up through Halo 3 and soon will be playing Halo 3 ODST. That's my story...
