As far as I know, there is no ranking up in firefight. Also there is no matchmaking for firefight, which I think sucks. I would love to automaticaly be able to find three other people to play with. I know where the rocket launcher is on that level, but not the sniper rifle. But there are many different levels to play firefight on. :)

Yeah I have ODST pre-ordered with gamestop. I have been practicing my Halo lately, trying to get ready for ODST. I went to a preview of it and stood in line for 3 hours to play for 10 min. I got highest score on my team and won a lisence plate cover that says "My other car is a warthog." We should totaly have a Halo party after ODST comes out.

As far as I know the Mythic maps are not free, but you get them for free if you buy Halo 3: ODST. It comes out Sept 22nd.
